First of all, I want to welcome everyone to the outdoor blog. Once every two weeks, I will try to touch on the subject of the fishing and hunting world. Just so you know a little about me, I'm going to give you a little background. I am a 1991 graduate of Holly Pond High school. I played both football and basketball in school, but my true passion has always been the outdoors. My true love is fishing. I compete weekly in a club tournament and also try to compete in several weekend events all over the state throughout the year.
In the blog, I will try to touch on three lakes in our area; Lake Guntersville, Smith Lake, and Wheeler Lake. I will discuss the stages the fish are in according to the weather. I will also discuss what they are biting. As hunting season approaches, I will discuss deer movement and transition stages. I hope you will find this blog informative. If you have any question or a topic you would like to discuss, please feel free to drop me an email. I will do my very best to answer your question. On a final note, don't forget Dove Season opens September 9th, 2017. If you haven't already, go purchase your hunting and fishing license!
