Holly Pond set the tone of the game early scoring on their first possession following an onside kick with Michael Lambert scoring on a four yard run. In the second quarter Caleb Jones put six more on the board with a four yard run followed by the two point conversion, Lambert to Morton. With a little over one minute remaining before halftime, Lambert completed a 52 yard touchdown pass to Jones, making it 20-0. The momentum stayed with the Broncos as Trey Hill returned the second half kickoff from the Holly Pond twenty yard line to the endzone, it was
26-0. Hill also added a 3 yard run midway throught the quarter, and Savannah Fortner the PAT for a 33-0 lead, then Lambert scored again on an 18 yard run and Schwab's PAT, it was 40-0 going into the final quarter. Hanceville added two scores late in the game, Evans a 5 yard run and Campbell a 26 yard pass to Smalls for the final of 40-16. The game was more than just a win, Holly Pond moved one game closer to clinching a playoff spot and the Bronco defense played strong throughout keeping the Bulldog rushing game beneath their usual yardage totals.
